Rickie accepted the call to form a choir in 1988 and by 1989 had co-written with her new songwriting partner, Rev. Michael Beckwith, 10 powerful songs for the Agape Choir. The title cut, I Release and I Let Go appears in its original form. Says Rickie, “It was a perfect way to end the recording session (in 1990) with singers live in the studio, singing around the piano.
